The Director of Community and Partnerships develops, manages, and grows Cluny’s network of donors, foundation officers, entrepreneurs, academics, filmmakers, event attendees, and friends. The position owns the Institute's CRM and partners with the CTO to build a digital community platform that strengthens relationships and engagement. It serves as community lead for The Visible Sign, Cluny’s anticipated four-year Lilly Endowment-funded storytelling initiative, coordinating its creative network, audience engagement, distribution relationships, and grant-aligned community-building. The Director also supports the Founder and Director and the Chief of Staff on donor cultivation, advancement, foundation relationships, sponsorships, and institutional partnerships, and identifies service opportunities that integrate the corporal works of mercy into Cluny’s community.
The projected salary for this position, which represents the full range of anticipated compensation, is: $75,000.
No specific degree required; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Minimum three years (three to seven preferred) in development, advancement, partnerships, community engagement, or a comparable relationship-driven role. Experience cultivating external relationships and cross-functional initiatives; nonprofit, higher education, media/arts, or startup experience preferred.
