Marketing Director

Overview

The Director of Marketing will be responsible for the branding and marketing strategies of the school. This position will oversee social media campaigns, school website, and all other communications. They will also manage all recruiting efforts for the school.

 

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $90,000-100,000.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee, develop, and implement the branding and marketing strategies for the school. 

2. Communicate and publicize the Busch School history, mission and core values through printed materials, media outlets, and digital platforms. 

3. Create, maintain, and publish content for the school’s website and social media platforms.

4. Coordinate and publish the school’s weekly communications, news releases and other event opportunities.

5. Ensure consistent branding, marketing, and communications.

6. Establish and deliver aggressive undergraduate and graduate enrollment targets.

7. Drive undergraduate, graduate and executive education recruiting with promotional materials and advertisements for recruiting events.

8. Support department heads and assist the various school constituencies with brand related projects.

9. Serve as the day-to-day point of contact and participate in strategic meetings with outside vendors and internal management members related to advertising contracts, sponsorships, projects, etc.

10. Coordinate activities and performance of assigned staff to include hiring, training, performance management, disciplinary actions and positive coaching.

11. Provide positive and effective leadership, direction and growth opportunities to direct staff.

12. Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects.

13. Assess the productivity of all advertising for compliance purposes.

14. Draft and distribute press releases and develop strategic relationship with media outlets.

15. Oversee the creative development of marketing materials.

16. Represent the School both on campus and away to promote brand awareness and enrollment growth.

17. Other external engagement activities that forward the mission of the School.

18. Travel as required 

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree.

2. 3-5 years managing university-level programming.

3. 3-5 years recruiting for programs.

4. 3-5 years marketing for graduate program.

5. Ability to use Google suite products (to include but not limited to Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Documents, Google Slides). 

6. Good command of MS Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

7. Knowledge of Hootsuite, MailChimp and/or other mass emailing products. 

8. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

9. Demonstrated creativity.

10. Expertise in social media.
