BHWET Project Coordinator

Overview

The BHWET Project Coordinator will coordinate the activities of the BHWET project, supporting the project director in project management. This position is grant-funded for a 4-year term.

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $65,000-75,000.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with community partners to establish, strengthen, and expand partnerships
  • Recruit and support TIPSP Scholars through coordinating information sessions with community organizations and institutions of higher education
  • Teach the field-instruction courses throughout the academic year and at least one of the courses in the certificate program
  • Coordinate the planning and implementation of the annual events for field instructors, faculty, and staff
  • Host quarterly support/learning groups for TIPSP field supervisors

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • A clinical licensure (LICSW or LCSW)
  • Five years of post-MSW experience working with children, adolescents, and/or young adults in high-need and high-demand areas
  • Three years of practice experience that involves the use of trauma-informed practice.
  • Familiarity with social work agencies in the Metropolitan DC area is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, databases, CMS web design, and Cardinal Station will be expected.
  • Must have comfort with public speaking, and have knowledge and skills needed to develop and offer training for social work students and professionals.
  • Must have an ability to plan workload and supervise students and staff in complex, busy office.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and be service-oriented.
  • Must be able to maintain ongoing contact with students, faculty and community agency personnel.
