Temp - Cheerleading Coach

Overview

The head cheer coach will lead and direct the team’s practices and routines. They will help organize the choreography for the team. They will be present for the team when needed, and hold athletes accountable throughout the school year.

 

This is a temporary, part-time job with an anticipated 8 hours of work per week. This assignment is anticipated to run from August 2025 to May 2025, but may vary depending on season outcomes. 

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $3,000.00.

Responsibilities

  1. Coaching, Instruction- provide practice and game day routine planning, implementation, and assessment.
  2. Training- Help train the team physically, and allow them to meet team needs.
  3. Recruitment- Assist in recruiting prospective members to join the team, and retain them.
  4. Compliance- Ensure compliance with regulations from the university and the cheer team governing board.
  5. Fundraising- Give ideas for the team to raise money through fundraising efforts and assist with team budgeting

 

Qualifications

  1. A High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  2. Coaching baseball, preferably at high school or collegiate level.
