The School of Nursing offers curricula that lead to the receipt of baccalaureate, masters, doctor of nursing practice and PhD degrees. This individual must be at a minimum BSN-prepared, MSN preferred, with an active licensed as a registered nurse able to collaborate with the Director of Undergraduate Clinical Partnerships and Placements on the principal responsibilities of this role. Engages support staff to secure sufficient placements and clinical preceptors for all undergraduate clinical rotations and contributes to continued CSON undergraduate program stability as noted in “I” above. The successful incumbent will demonstrate emotional maturity, keen organizational skills and engage in a steep learning curve to assure continued departmental functioning with specific focus on expanded clinical site partnerships and secured clinical placements for all upper-level nursing students’ clinical rotations. The successful incumbent will evidence exceptional verbal skills and writing proficiency.
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $71,000 to $80,000.
A minimum of five years as a BSN, MSN-preferred registered nurse with experience as a clinical preceptor/instructor highly recommended. Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Blackboard, Word, Excel, and Zoom.
Able to navigate Cardinal Station, knowledge of key referrals for upper-level nursing students.
Active DC RN License.
