The School of Nursing offers curricula that lead to the receipt of baccalaureate, masters, doctor of nursing practice, and PhD degrees. With partners around the DC area, students have guaranteed access to a high-quality, world class clincal education. The Laboratory and Teaching Technology Specialist reports to the Vice Dean and plays a key role in coordinating the school's Microbiology and Anatomy and Physiology Lab activities in collaboration with faculty from the Biology Department. Maintains the two labs. Collaborates with Biology Department on planning for lab education and problem solving barriers to efficient and effective teaching and learning. The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: Up to $62,000.
A Bachelor's Degree required and Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, healthcare, technology, life sciences, communications, or related fields desirable. Two (2) years previous experience in a setting with similar technology. Experience working in either a chemistry or microbiology lab is essential as well as working with classroom and laboratory technology. Entry-level audiovisual technology, and entry-level clinical experience (i.e.- EMT-B, CNA, LPN, PTA, Pharm Tech, Scribe).
Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Drive, Word, Excel, and Zoom. Able to navigate Cardinal Station.
