The Program Coordinator I - Student Support holds a vital role, working in close collaboration with the Managing Director, Assistant Director, and Director of Student Programs to execute the daily functions of the IHE and oversee both public-facing and internal programming, with an emphasis on supporting and communicating with the IHE’s students (undergraduate and graduate), and on tasks related to programmatic organization. The Program Coordinator I - Student Support assists with the development of the Program on Catholic Political Thought and supports to the overall mission of the IHE in events and other programs.
The Program Coordinator I - Student Support is a key organizer of the IHE’s varied events, ranging from internal dinner seminars to public lectures to international seminars. Regular attendance at evening events, networking opportunities, and conferences is required. The Program Coordinator I - Student Support must be an excellent written and verbal communicator to serve as the point of contact for vendors, speakers, and attendees at these events.
Consequently, the IHE is seeking an individual who is eminently trustworthy and reliable; is ready to take initiative and to work independently; has good judgment; is positive, enthusiastic, and works well with others; is self-motivated, hard-working, and able to work without constant supervision; has strong organizational abilities and attention to detail; and is strongly motivated by the IHE’s mission to bring the truth of the Catholic intellectual tradition to Catholic University’s campus and the wider public square.
The ideal candidate will be adept at coordinating a busy agenda, adhering to deadlines, anticipating problems and taking initiative, following through on independent projects, and planning events (both in-person and virtual). This person will respond promptly to emails and keep track of taskings in an organized and efficient manner.
This is a two-year position with opportunities to advance within the Institute.
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $75,000.
