Operations Assistant I

Overview

This individual is responsible for the mastery and performance of all Assistant I processing tasks in support of undergraduate and graduate Admissions and Student Financial Assistance for recruitment, enrollment, data analysis and verification processes. Also performs tasks to support all internal and external communication distribution systems for the enrollment management division and for the imaging and processing of all Admission application materials.

 

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: up to $40,100. 

Responsibilities

• Input prospect information from prospect lists, primarily CAPPEX responder and Zinch responder.
• Search for supporting documents in online folders for late applying students (Orphan Search Rpt).
• Open and sort and process all mail received by the office. Ensure that outgoing mail is taken to the mail room daily.
• Download documents in support of applications from Parchment, Scoir and other 3 party document-sending services.
• Assist with Admissions and Financial Aid mailings and various communications.
• Assist with various audits and reports.
• Manage inventory of all Admissions publications.
• Answer and route phone calls received on main Admissions lines.
• Provide coverage for Admissions reception desk as needed.
• Process Request More Information (RMI) from prospects.
• Scan, Link, and process documents, including both hard and soft copy, in both TargetX and Image Now.
• Assist with email inbox for both Graduate and Undergraduate.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • 0 - 2 years office experience with an emphasis on computer knowledge
  • Familiarity with modern office equipment, including multi-line telephones, fax and copy machines, and computers.
